Acoustic music with variety!
Dan and Chris began performing music together in 2005 in the band Dan Greene and the Fever Dream. Dan & Chris was born in 2008 when these bandmates and friends decided to perform all-acoustic, but with true rock-and-roll sizzle. The have decades of performing experience. Dan Greene has been playing guitar since the age of 16 and studied classical guitar at Florida State University. Chris Slaughter also began playing guitar while in high school. Dan released his first CD The Magnitude of Memory Loss, in July 2006. It is a collection of 12 original songs written from 2001 to 2006. In January 2010, DGFD released a 5 song self-titled EP. Dan and Chris are both natives of the Triad area and are proud to call it home. So what should you expect to hear at a Dan & Chris Acoustic show? A blend of acoustic renditions of your favorite classic, alternative, and modern rock covers, with a handful of heart-felt originals.
