Dan Greene & The Fever Dream formed in 2001 after its namesake had spent the previous 10 years playing in over a dozen different bands throughout the Southeast. The band has seen several incarnations, but still stays true to one vision- to bring a wide variety of musical styles together and present them in an energetic and unique way, whether it be a mellow James Taylor song, a rollicking Black Sabbath song, or one of over 2 dozen originals spanning everything in between. We can come to you as an acoustic act or a roof raising electric assault, but regardless you will always be entertained and leave with a new melody ringing in your ears!
Dan Greene - Vocals, Lead Guitar, Keyboards
Dan is a lifelong musician hailing from Greensboro, NC. Beginning with piano lessons at age six and taking up an obsession with the guitar at age fifteen, he has followed his muse through over a dozen band memberships before deciding to pilot his own destiny with the formation of Dan Greene & The Fever Dream in 2001. What will you hear at a Dan Greene show? A mixture of passionate originals and interpretations of songs by everyone from James Taylor to Iron Maiden.
Chris Slaughter - Guitar, Vocals
Chris is a native of Greensboro, NC and has played with DGFD since 2005. At the age of fifteen, Chris began learning guitar tunes from his favorite bands and helped form the hard rock band Scribe in high school. He has also played guitar in hard rock bands Shogun and Kase. Chris also performs with Dan in the acoustic duo "Dan & Chris".
